Transport innovation: natural gas hits the road in Abitibi

This Earth Day, Fournier takes another step towards more sustainable and responsible transportation. The transport division is proud to announce the arrival of its very first natural gas-powered road truck – a first for the Abitibi region!  

Cutting-edge technology in the service of the environment 

Freshly delivered, this truck will soon bear Fournier’s colors and hit the road for its first deliveries. It is equipped with the X15N engine, a much-awaited new-generation technology in the road transport sector. This high-performance engine enables long-distance applications comparable to those of traditional diesel engines, while meeting the rigorous standards of the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) and CARB (California Air Resources Board).
